Microneedling rebuilds your collagen for firmer, smoother skin

Over a series, microneedling firms early laxity, smooths texture, and softens scars. The serum we tailor to your skin is where the plan gets personal.

The result comes from your own skin. Fine needles create controlled micro-injuries at a precise depth, and your skin responds the way it would to any small wound, by building fresh collagen and elastin underneath. That's the layer where firmness and texture actually change. The clinical name is collagen induction therapy. Because that rebuilding takes time, you'll see results over weeks, not days, and they keep improving across the series.

We perform all microneedling on the Collagen P.I.N., an FDA-cleared device with adjustable depth, set to your skin rather than one fixed depth, so we can treat thinner skin around the eyes and mouth differently than thicker skin on the cheeks and forehead in the same visit. The micro-channels also let us drive treatment serums deeper than any product could reach on its own, and that's what the four options below let us customize for you.

Microneedling addresses collagen loss, texture, and surface damage

Microneedling works on early laxity and crepey skin, on rough texture and acne scars, and on dullness and enlarged pores. It's versatile, but it isn't right for everything.

Microneedling is our go-to for early laxity and fine lines, for acne scars and rough texture, and for dullness and enlarged pores. We won't use it over active acne or a rosacea flare, and it won't erase deep expression lines, which are better handled another way. If your skin isn't ready, we'll start somewhere that suits it better.

What to expect from microneedling

Microneedling works as a series, with short and predictable downtime

One session leaves your skin brighter and fresher right away. The real change, the firmer, smoother texture, builds over weeks and adds up session to session, which is why most results build over a series.

For general firmness and texture, plan on a minimum of three sessions; for acne scars or deeper texture, four to six or more, spaced about three to six weeks apart, with light maintenance once or twice a year. Fall and winter are the easiest seasons to treat because lower sun exposure makes healing safer. Summer is doable if you're strict about sun protection, though we may suggest waiting if a beach trip is coming up.

Recovery is real but short. We keep you on a gentle, fragrance-free routine, pause actives like retinol and acids for five to seven days, and walk you through the specifics at your appointment.

Sessions

Three or more for firmness and texture, four to six or more for acne scars or deeper texture, spaced three to six weeks apart.

Day 0 to 1

Skin feels hot and tight, then looks red like a moderate sunburn.

Day 2 to 5

Pink and slightly rough, then light peeling and flaking. Do not pick it.

Day 5 to 7

Mostly back to normal, with skin looking brighter. Deeper collagen results build over the following weeks.
