The Micro Laser Peel is a resurfacing treatment: the erbium laser removes a controlled amount of the skin's outermost layer, taking the accumulated damage with it. Sun spots, uneven pigment, fine lines, enlarged pores, rough patches, and general dullness all sit in that layer, which is why one treatment addresses so many of them at once.

The "micro" isn't marketing, it's a depth setting. This peel goes one step deeper than our Nano Laser Peel and stops short of ProFractional, in both depth and downtime. Deeper reach means it can remove damage a light pass leaves in place, while your recovery still runs in days.

Where it sits in your plan depends on your skin. Depth and timing are decided at your consultation and skin analysis, and we schedule the work around your sun exposure: corrective-depth resurfacing favors the lower-sun months, but nothing here is locked to a season. Like all our lasers, it runs under medical-director oversight.

Here's how it goes, so you can plan around it.

The treatment itself takes 30 to 60 minutes, and we apply topical numbing first. The laser passes feel warm.

Recovery runs several days, depending on the depth we chose together. Expect sunburn-like redness, and don't be alarmed if your skin looks darker before it looks better: that's pigment surfacing, and it sheds on its own. It's not the flaking a chemical peel causes, and we'll walk you through exactly what to expect before and after your treatment.

Results are noticeable within about two weeks, and your skin keeps refining for up to six months after a single treatment. Whether you need one pass or a series with maintenance after is a consultation decision, made from your skin and your goals rather than a preset package.
