Tier 3 Chemical Peel

Tier 3 is a medical-grade chemical peel.

This is a medical-grade chemical peel designed to treat more advanced skin concerns. It works by removing damaged outer layers of skin to improve stubborn sun damage, melasma, hyperpigmentation, rough texture, fine lines and uneven skin tone. As your skin peels over the next 5-7 days, healthier, smother skin is revealed underneath.

What to expect

A 30-minute treatment. Peeling typically begins about 48 hours after your treatment.

Here's the whole arc, from the appointment through your final results.

The visit itself is quick: your appointment takes about 40 minutes, including preparation, the peel and post-peel treatment instructions. Before you leave, we'll walk you through exactly what to expect over the next week and how to care for your skin every step of the way.

Around 48 hours after your peel, the flaking starts. With Tier 3, expect visible peeling for 5 to 7 days, so choose your week on purpose. If there's a wedding, a reunion, or a big presentation coming up, count back and give the peel 10-14 days.

The peeling is a normal and important part of the process. As damaged surface skin shed away, healthier, smoother skin is revealed beneath, helping improve pigmentation, rough texture, fine lines, and signs of sun damage.

  • Wear sunscreen daily

    Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ every morning while your skin heals-and make it part of your daily routine afterward.

  • Avoid direct sun

    Freshly renewed skin is more sensitive to UV damage. Avoid direct sun before the treatment, during healing and wear a hat whenever possible.

    Keep skin hydrated using the post-care provided to keep your skin comfortable and support the healing process.

    Let peeling happen naturally. Picking or pulling at flaking skin can delay healing and affect your results.

    Avoid active ingredients, retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs until your skin has fully healed.

    It's important to stop prescription retinoids and exfoliating products as directed before your treatment. We will give you personalized pre-treatment instructions based on your skincare routine and any prescription medications.

  • Pause active ingredients

    Pause retinoids, exfoliating acids, benzoyl peroxide and scrubs for 5-7 days before treatment, or as directed. We'll review your skincare routine during your consultation.

  • Keep skincare gentle

    Use a gentle cleanser, the post-care (given at your treatment), and a mineral based sunscreen. Avoid harsh or exfoliating products while your skin heals.

  • Let peeling happen naturally

    Don't pick, peel, or pull at flaking skin. Let it shed naturally to support proper healing and the best possible results.
